Witnesses said the eagle tried to grab the little green riding hood who is believed to be around six and eight years old like a "small animal".

Christine O'Connell from Horsham, Victoria, who was watching bird show at Alice Springs Park, central Australia with her husband on 6 July when the incident occurred, told the BBC the eagle flew straight for the boy from about 15 meters away. She said that the bird probably distracted by the noise created by the little boy who kept running his zipper up and down.
