Brilio.net/en - At the age of 17, Kaitlyn Pullam,died in a tragic way after her father accidentally shot her right on her face.
As reported by KFVS (28/12), this heartbreaking tragedy happened on December 21 at her home in Ohio.
Butler County Sherriff Mark Dobbs revealed that Kathlyns father thought that the gun was unloaded.
When deputies arrived at the scene, Kaitlyn was found in her bedroom unresponsive with what appeared to be a single gunshot wound to her face.
Kaitlyn no longer has a pulse when officers arrived. When paramedics rushed her to the hospital, she eventually regained a pulse, but she remained in a coma. Sadly, she died on Saturday, December 26.
Pastor Stewart, her pastor at The First United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff that said she was an intelligent girl with a dream to work in forensics.
"She had goals, she was driven, she was going to accomplish those," he said.
"In fact, she really had already graduated, but was going to hang out for just one more semester just to walk with everybody else."
The family plans to donate Kaitlyn's organs.
