Brilio.net/en - Using a drone, photographer Karolis Janulis has taken pictures of his homeland Lithuania, from the air. The pieces reveal a surprising the beauty of countryside covered in snow like weve never seen before.
Since summer, he has already had photography visions of some places in winter time, which he was sure will look interesting from a birds eye view.
On the first day the snow fell, I went flying and taking pictures, not to miss the chance of capturing the moments while the trees are still holding the fresh sno. No matter how cold it was, I enjoyed the winter season, says Janulis.
His photography shows off the breathtaking winter pictures, depicting the bright white snow covering roads and fields, the woods, or even simple compositions of a tree and landscape from above.

The very end of December and early January brought stronger cold to Lithuania, reaching -15C. No matter of this, I kept on flying, says Janulis's images capture the countryside and the capital, Vilnius.
Being specialized in aerial photography, the 34-years-old photographer uses a DJI Phantom 2 Vision Plus quadcopter to capture the pictures.
"I have always loved looking at perspectives from above; it allows us to see so many things that would otherwise be unnoticed," says Janulis. Taking photographs from above grants us the possibility to see the same view of the daily world as others.
