To add on to the celebrations, Jakartas governor Ahok stressed upon the importance to communicate about the Smart City program as a means to enhance the publics access to information technology. As mobile applications are in popular demand today, Ahok wants the Indonesian community to tap into that. He believes that the Jakarta Fair can be a solid platform to guide the public towards achieving that goal.
He explained that this [Smart City program] is what I want conducted at the fair. I dont want to see the administration only selling products, like traditional food, to visitors. Jakarta shall introduce to the public the applications it has, which can make the life of the Jakartans or people who want to visit this city easier and better.

The Jakarta Fair will also showcase plenty of exciting products and services, which include fashion, food, handicrafts and electronics, to name a few. Bring your kids too so that they can be a part of the all new snow playground and horror house called Penjara Setan (Devils Prison). Trust me; theyll be on cloud nine!
