- Priority applicants include non-ASN personnel who have worked in government agencies and are registered in the BKN database, including teachers who graduated from the Teacher Professional Education (PPG). Applicants in this category are given privileges because of their length of service and the relevance of their work to the government.
- Former Category II Honorary Workers (THK-II) are also a priority group in this selection. They have worked for years with honorary status and now have the opportunity to be appointed as PPPK.

The 2024 PPPK selection is divided into two waves. The first wave will begin on October 1, 2024 with selection registration that will last until October 20, 2024. In this wave, applicants from the priority category, former THK-II, and non-ASN personnel registered in the BKN database will begin the selection process. After registration, it will be continued with administrative selection that will last until October 29, 2024. The announcement of the results of the administrative selection is scheduled for October 30 to November 1, 2024.
If you are included in the priority category or non-ASN workers registered with BKN, make sure to prepare your documents well to pass the administrative selection. After the administrative selection, applicants still have the opportunity to file an objection if the selection results are deemed inappropriate. The objection period will take place on November 2-4, 2024, and the objection response is scheduled from November 2-6, 2024.
For the second wave, the registration schedule is open from November 17 to December 31, 2024. This second wave is intended for non-ASN personnel who are actively working in government agencies, including PPG graduates who work as teachers in local governments.
