On Monday (15/7) the Yogyakarta Cultural Festival held a program entitled "Panggih". The event took place at the Diponegoro Monument Museum. Panggih represents the combination of two traditional elements of Javanese society. Showing performing arts, dance, music and the Dhahar Kembul tradition.

In the Dhahar tradition, Kembul serves a unique dish called Sate Kene. Sate Kene is full of historical meaning from the legacy of Prince Diponegoro which is presented in the form of a mountain symbolizing life. Making Sate Kene was created by Dapoer Bermobil belonging to the Ketjil Bermobil Community.

There are five elements of agricultural products in Sate Kene. Consists of tubers, rice, sticky rice, bananas and brown sugar.
These five elements symbolize independence inspired by the history of Ratu Ageng Tegalrejo who was the grandmother of Prince Diponegoro and wife of Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono I.

All the existing elements are then combined with a bamboo bowsprit. This element has a philosophy that life should not be rigid like bamboo.
