The sad story of a father's struggle to try to save his three children who were adrift on the high seas has been widely circulated in cyberspace. As revealed by the upload of the owner of the Instagram account @irvanwvisuals, the ship belonging to a man named Aco reportedly capsized due to high waves in the waters of the Lintah Strait on Padar Island, Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) on Sunday (30/6).
Unfortunately, not a single ship provided assistance to Aco and her three children. Luckily, their lives were saved after the Zea Zaydan speedboat on which the account owner was traveling passed by the scene of the incident.
Swiftly, the crew and captain of the speedboat pulled the hands of the three children and a father who were almost drowning. It was revealed that Aco and his three children, who were just holding on to the belly of the ship while waiting for help, had been adrift in the open sea for 2 hours.
"A father's sacrifice in earning a living in fulfilling his responsibility to provide for and protect his family members. They were adrift in the sea for more than 2 hours," explained the account owner.

When the Zea Zaydan speedboat on which the account owner was traveling passed by, the captain and crew immediately provided assistance.

The captain and crew of the speedboat pulled the hands of the three children and their father who were almost drowning. It was clear they were very cold.

"On the way to Labuan Bajo, 10 minutes later we ran into a team from BASARNAS and they were evacuated onto a speed boat belonging to BASARNAS," said the account owner.
