During her time in the entertainment world, Nurul Qomar has had an inspiring life journey. Born on March 11, 1960 in Jakarta, she is the first of seven siblings in a large, culturally rich family. Her warm and humorous figure has colored her life journey since she was a child until she became a public figure in various fields.

Since childhood, Qomar has shown a unique talent for comedy. His passion for entertaining others is often seen in various school events. Although at that time he was already active in comedy, Qomar still made education a priority and aspired to become a teacher.

1. Nurul Qomar was born in Jakarta on March 11, 1960 to KH. Ahmad Yusri and Hj. Siti Choridah. She is the eldest of seven siblings in a family with a background that highly values art and education.

2. Qomar's father was a clerk at the Central Jakarta District Court as well as a leader of Sundanese arts called Cancang Pajajaran. This culturally rich family environment shaped Qomar's artistic soul since childhood.

3. His comedy talent began to be seen since elementary school when he often performed at school events. He first participated in a comedy competition in 1978, where he won second place at the Comedy Festival held by Radio UKI.

4. Together with his friends, Qomar founded a comedy group called Tom-Tam in 1979. This group immediately became the first winner in the DKI Jakarta Comedy Festival.
