Brilio.net - Using a helmet at high intensity makes it very easy to get dirty. Not infrequently, helmets become dull and change color. Another problem that many people often experience is that the helmet becomes full of scratches, especially on the outside.

Basically, there are a number of things that can cause a helmet to become dull and full of scratches. Starting from friction and impact, excessive exposure to sunlight, to improper storage. Well, the condition of a helmet like this not only reduces its visual appeal, but can also reduce its effectiveness in protecting the head when driving.

One way to deal with a dull helmet full of scratches is to clean it regularly. However, you also need to pay attention to cleaning your helmet so that it lasts longer and the scratches don't get worse. One way is to avoid using abrasive cleaning agents which can damage the helmet's protective layer.

So, apart from using safe cleaning materials, you also need to choose the right tools when cleaning your helmet. Luckily, YouTube user ADLI AJAH once shared a simple tool used to clean helmets optimally. Who would have thought, this tool could make your helmet shine again without scratches.

To be clearer, this netizen named Adli uses kitchen utensils. As reported by BrilioFood on Thursday (2/5), the kitchen tool in question is a dishwashing sponge. Yup! This sponge has a smooth texture that can remove stains, but also keeps the surface of the helmet smooth without scratches.

So, the cleaning agent used is toothpaste. How to use it is quite easy. First, dip the sponge in water. Then use this wet sponge to wipe the surface of the helmet evenly.

If so, pour a little toothpaste onto the surface of the sponge. After that, rub the sponge all over the helmet which is dull and full of scratches. Shortly after rubbing it with a sponge and toothpaste, the dull stains and scratches on the helmet immediately disappeared, you know.

"The stain (stain) disappeared immediately, guys. This won't work if you clean it with ordinary soapy water," said YouTube ADLI AJAH.

If there are stubborn stains or black streaks, you can rub them with more pressure. Then, if you feel clean, rinse the helmet by spraying it with water. This will minimize the amount of water that remains on the inside of the helmet.

So, after spraying it with water, the helmet will become shinier and cleaner. Next, wipe the helmet using a dry cloth. For maximum results, dry the helmet again until it is completely dry. That way, the helmet can be used again.
