Brilio.net - Kitchen cloth is one of the essential equipment that must be in every kitchen. This rectangular cloth is often used to clean various types of dirt, from oil stains, water spills, to food scraps that dirty the kitchen area. Kitchen cloths are known to have high absorbency, so they are very effective in absorbing dirt and making kitchen surfaces cleaner.
However, over time, kitchen towels can become dirty due to the accumulation of stains. These stains not only make the towel look dull, but also cause a musty odor. This condition is worsened by the presence of oil stains that stick, which make the kitchen towel difficult to clean. Even after being washed with detergent, kitchen towels often still feel slippery because of the oil that is absorbed into the fabric fibers.
To effectively clean kitchen towels, special materials and methods are needed. Many people usually soak the towels in hot water or even boil them with soap or detergent. However, did you know that there is a simple ingredient that is very effective in removing oil stains on kitchen towels? This ingredient was once used by a YouTube user, CookEasyAndDelicious, who in one of his videos revealed that he only used ingredients available in the kitchen.
As reported by BrilioFood on Friday (6/12), the kitchen ingredients used are baking soda and cooking vinegar. Well, these two ingredients are mixed with soap, which is then used to wash the kitchen cloth. For maximum results, he also uses 2 types of soap, namely laundry detergent and dishwashing soap.
To be more precise, prepare a bucket or container that is wide enough. Then fill it with water. No need to use hot water, you can just use water at room temperature.

Well, for maximum results, it is best to soak this kitchen cloth for a full day. Later, the mixture of soap, baking soda, and vinegar will help remove dirt and musty odors on the kitchen cloth. Therefore, the longer it is soaked, the easier it will be to clean the kitchen cloth.
Once soaked, drain the kitchen cloth and discard the soaking water. After that, scrub it using a cloth brush. While brushing, you can add more detergent so that the stains fade even more. Finally, rinse the water and dry it in the sun until dry.
