High intensity of stove usage can affect the burner. Often there is food or liquid residue from cooking that touches the burner. If left too long, the stain can turn into crust .

This crust has the potential to clog the holes in the burner, so that it can cause the stove flame to not light properly. In addition, dirty and black stove burners are at risk of producing red flames, not blue.

For the method, pour water into the pan. After that, move it to the stove. Insert the stove burner into the pan and make sure the burner is completely submerged in water.

If so, sprinkle one sachet of citric acid into the water evenly. Then turn on the stove with low heat. Boil until the water boils or changes color.

After boiling, the water will turn greenish. If it is like this, turn off the stove. In the video, the color of the burner which was originally dirty and pitch black has become more faded.

To make it easier to scrub, let it sit until the water temperature starts to cool. Then scrub it using a brush. Sure enough, the crust, rust, and other dirt that sticks can be cleaned immediately in one scrub.

For the final step, wash the stove burner thoroughly with dishwashing liquid soap. Simply put the stove burner into the soapy water. Then rub it a little so that the fine dirt on the burner can be removed.

After cleaning with soap, rinse the burner in running water until clean. Then dry it with a cloth. In the video, the burner is cleaner and its color changes to brown as before.
