Brilio.net - The sink is an important component in the kitchen because without it, cooking and cleaning activities can be hampered. In addition to the sink, the dish rack that stores kitchen utensils also needs to be cleaned regularly. Dish racks are often exposed to water and easily get dirty, especially those made of plastic. If rarely cleaned, plastic dish racks can grow black moss spots that are difficult to clean, especially in hard-to-reach areas. Cleaning it can be time-consuming and tiring. However, there is a practical way to clean mossy plastic dish racks shared by Riska on TikTok. This method does not require a brush and only takes a short time.

Prepare and mix the cleaning solution first. Riska uses a mixture of citric acid powder, water, and dish soap. The three ingredients are put into a container or basin , then stirred until smooth.

"Prepare citric acid or lemon, add 2 glasses of hot water, add 2 tablespoons of sunlight," he explained, quoted by BrilioFood from TikTok @riska_mardhiana on Saturday (11/23).

Use a brush to apply the liquid to the plastic dish rack, especially on mossy or crusty parts. After wiping, the dish rack should be left for five minutes. When left alone, the cleaning solution that has been applied will work to lift stubborn stains on the plastic dish rack.

After five minutes, the plastic dish rack can be rinsed using running water. The results are immediately shiny, right? Very simple, right?

No need to spend energy to brush it, stains on the plastic dish rack can be removed easily. After rinsing, the dish rack can then be dried and put back in its original place.

Reported from lemishine.com, a cleaning mixture added with citric acid is indeed very effective in cleaning moss, mold, dust, and bacteria stains. This is because this ingredient can lower the pH of the stain, making it easier to eradicate without wasting energy to brush it.
