A TikTok user @alifah_acap showed how to wash a dull, musty-smelling hat in one of his video uploads. This netizen admitted that he had a special cleaning concoction that relied on ingredients he had at home.
The first step, put the hat into the container . Then sprinkle one kitchen ingredient, namely baking soda, into it. Yes, this kitchen ingredient is considered effective in removing stubborn stains on hats.

If so, add detergent as usual. Then pour hot water into the container until it completely soaks all parts of the hat.

Stir then let the hat soak in the cleaning solution for a few moments. The longer it is soaked, the dirt on the hat seems to come out by itself. This can be clearly seen in the soaking water which becomes cloudy.

Next, rinse the hat under running water. While rubbing with your fingers to ensure all parts of the hat are as clean as possible.

When it's clean, dry the hat in the sun. Wait a few moments until the hat is completely dry. A hat that is clean and dry can be worn straight away as usual.
