Brilio.net - Glasses are often used for various drinks such as tea, coffee, and others. One type of glass that is widely sold is ceramic glass, which is known to be sturdy and suitable for hot or cold drinks. Ceramic glasses often have attractive designs, but unfortunately, stains can make them look dull.

Tea stains, which contain tannins, often stick and make the surface of ceramic cups look dull. Frequent use of cups for tea can cause stains to build up and turn into crust that is difficult to clean, disrupting the appearance of the cup. This problem is common to many people, including YouTube user Wafi Khansa Kreatif, who shared his experience in cleaning stubborn tea stains.

"Tea stains that stick to ceramic cups usually won't come off if you only wash them using dishwashing soap or the stains won't go away," said Wafi, quoted by BrilioFood from YouTube Wafi Khansa Kreatif on Saturday (23/11).

Generally, these stains can only be removed with special ingredients, such as baking soda, vinegar, or hot water. Some of these ingredients are considered capable of softening the crust. So that tea stains can be cleaned easily.

However, instead of using these ingredients, Wafi actually chooses to use other, more practical ingredients.

In the video, he admitted that he only relies on dish soap. And in order for the stains to disappear, there are certain tricks that must be practiced.

"The method I am giving is quite special, because it doesn't require any other ingredients," he explained further.

First, scrub the crust using a sponge and dish soap. After the soap and foam are evenly distributed, rub again using the palm of your hand. Rub quite hard until the crust begins to disappear.

Sure enough, after rubbing it with your hands, the inside of the glass that was previously crusty became white again. Next, rinse the glass first using water. Make sure the foam is gone.

But it doesn't stop there. If there are still crust stains on the glass, he explains another trick that is no less effective. The method is to prepare a sheet of sandpaper numbered 400. You can also use sandpaper numbered 800, 1000, or 2000.

After that, rub the crust using the sandpaper. If the crust is not too thick, it is better to use 400 sandpaper only to minimize scratches on the surface of the glass. Well, after being rubbed, the glass becomes cleaner and shinier.

"This method also does not damage your glasses or plates," explained YouTube Wafi Khansa Kreatif.
