Clean without any stains, here's how to clean rust stains on the floor from old gas cylinders using 3 ingredients

These rust stains tend to be difficult to clean because they are very stubborn. Brilio.net

Brilio.net - Rust stains on the floor can be formed from various sources, such as gas cylinders that are placed without a base. These gas cylinders can rust and leave crust on the floor. The marks are very striking, making the floor look dirty and unkempt. Worse, these rust stains tend to be difficult to clean because they are very stubborn. Rust is formed due to a reaction between metal, water, and oxygen which produces a reddish brown compound.

In the kitchen, floors that are often exposed to moisture from spilled water or hot steam make rust from gas cylinders easier to form and stick firmly. In addition, floor materials such as ceramic or porcelain can absorb rust stains deeper, so that ordinary cleaners are not effective enough to remove them. To overcome this problem, a stronger and more precise cleaning method is needed. Using natural ingredients such as vinegar or lemon which contain acid, plus baking soda, can be an effective solution to remove rust stains. If rust stains are still difficult to remove, special cleaning products designed to deal with rust can be used as an alternative.

But instead of melting the right cleaning product, you can mix it yourself with three simple ingredients. Reported by BrilioFood from Instagram @tari_ari_aja on Monday (12/16), the simple ingredients in question are citric acid, liquid detergent, and vinegar. These three ingredients can help make rust stains fade instantly without a trace, you know.

Simply mix citric acid, liquid detergent, and vinegar in one container. Then dissolve it with enough hot water. After that, stir all the ingredients until completely dissolved. You can stir it using an old toothbrush to be safer.

Next, directly apply the liquid to the rust stains on the floor using an old toothbrush. While applying, rub it slowly and evenly. Do this process until the rust stains are completely gone. Then wipe it using a dry sponge and cloth.

A moment after wiping, the floor became even shinier. Even the circular rust marks were completely gone. This indicates that the mixture of citric acid, detergent, and vinegar can effectively remove stubborn stains.
