Involving 600 crew members, 500 extras and 70 horses, as well as 25 shooting days, the stunning battle was an extreme blend of practical efforts or with and magnificent visual effects.

Of course, the credit also went to the actors and actresses since it was them who once again breathed life into the scene with their spectacular characters and acting. Jon Snow was inches from dying, again.

Yes, Game of Thrones Battle of the Bastards showed how sophisticated visual effect have become over the last years, so much that it is becoming hard to tell whether Wun Wun the giant and the thousand cavalry were actually not really in the field.
