This film, which promotes Batak culture, stars Atiqah Hasiholan (Mami Laterina), Tasha Siahaan (Cian), Tanta Ginting (Tulang Ucok), David Saragih (Papi Mondo), Cornel Nadeak (Alon), Lina 'Mak Gondut' Marpaung (Opung Tiolin) and Landung Simatupang (Tulang Tua). All of these actors also have North Sumatran blood.
