Shella passed away after battling ovarian cancer since 2021. Her fight against this malignant disease has inspired many people. Her persistence in undergoing various series of treatments, including surgery and chemotherapy, is a testament to the strength of her spirit.
Shella is known as a talented celebrity. However, her career journey had to stop when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Even so, Shella did not give up. She instead used her social media platform to share her experiences and inspire fellow cancer fighters.
Before she passed away, Shella had shared her heartfelt thoughts in a podcast hosted by Dr. Richard Lee. On that occasion, she expressed her doubts and fears regarding her marriage to her lover, Albi Dwizky.

"I felt inferior, then I told him to leave because you already know that I can't give you children and all that," said Shella in the podcast, quoted by brilio.net on Saturday (31/8).
This statement illustrates Shella's lack of confidence due to her health condition. She feels she cannot provide offspring to her partner, something she considers important in a marriage.
"Moreover, my boyfriend really likes small children. So that's what makes me feel guilty," he continued.
Albi's love for children makes Shella feel even more guilty. She worries that she won't be able to fulfill her partner's wish to have children in the future.

Even so, Albi remained loyal to accompany Shella. "'No, if we have money we can adopt'. Well, I don't know what God's plan is like," said Shella, imitating her partner's words at that time.
Albi's support gave Shella strength. Although she could not have biological children, Albi assured Shella that they could still build a family through adoption. However, another doubt arose in Shella's mind.
"I want to get married, doc. But I'm afraid that if I get married for a short time, then I die, he'll be a young widower," he said.

Although she wanted to get married, Shella seemed to have a feeling that she would not live long. She did not want her death to burden her partner with the status of a widower at a young age.
"So it's like (thinking), 'Isn't he getting married? But if I get married later, he'll be a widower,' like that. Not being single," he continued while holding back tears.
Finally, Shella and Albi decided to get married on August 14, 2024 in Garut, West Java. Shella passed away exactly one day after their 2-week wedding anniversary celebration.
