Brilio.net - Thousands of residents held a protest in front of the DPR/MPR RI Building on Thursday (22/8). Not only in Jakarta, similar demonstrations were also held in various other cities, including Semarang. This action was a response to the Working Committee meeting held by the DPR RI Legislation Body (Baleg) regarding the revision of the Pilkada Law and also to monitor the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK).
Many artists came down from the mountains and joined the protest. No exception, Iqbal Ramadhan, son of the old singer Machicha Mochtar, also participated. But unfortunately, since becoming a mass action, he was arrested by the police.
As a mother, of course, she is very worried about the news. Machica said that her son has not returned home yet. She was even more worried when she heard the news that Iqbal's nose was broken .

"I don't know where my child is. I'm still weak because I don't know where my child is. They said his nose was broken, then they said he was in the hospital, I don't know which hospital," said Machica as reported by kapanlagi.com on Friday (23/8).
The singer of the song 'Ilalang' said that he knew that his son took to the streets to join in protesting the Revision of the Pilkada Law. Even because he knew that the situation could get out of control, his son, Iqbal, told Machica not to leave the house to join the demonstration.

"He has (said goodbye), yesterday he said 'Mom, don't go anywhere tomorrow'. I asked 'Why?', he said 'There will be a demonstration tomorrow. If possible, Mom, don't go anywhere'. I said I wanted to come along but I wasn't given permission," said Machica.
Knowing that her son did not come home, Machica tried to contact Iqbal. But unfortunately Iqbal did not give any reply at all. Until one of the family members informed her that her son had been arrested by the police.
"I called him in the afternoon but there was no news. In the evening his aunt called to inform me, then I saw the news. I was shocked that Iqbal was arrested. Oh my God... what can I do? His cellphone can't be reached until now," said Machica.

Machica Mochtar just got news that Iqbal is at Polda Metro Jaya. However, the 54-year-old singer is still waiting for further information from her colleagues at LBH. Iqbal Ramadhan is an assistant at LBH Jakarta and is Machica's first child from her marriage to Moerdiono.
