The Indonesian entertainment world was again shocked by sad news. Sandy Permana , who is widely known for his role in the legendary soap opera 'Mak Lampir', was found dead covered in blood on the side of the road in the Cibarusah area, Bekasi Regency, on Sunday (12/1). Although he was rushed to the hospital, unfortunately Sandy's life could not be saved.
According to the statement from the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bekasi Police, Commissioner Onkoseno Grandiarso Sukahar, Sandy was the victim of a stabbing that resulted in his death. "Yes, that's right," he said when contacted by the media crew.
The victim was found not far from his house with several stab wounds on his body. Despite his serious condition, Sandy was still able to walk before finally collapsing in front of his neighbor's house.
"This morning the victim was found in a state of injury, still able to walk, then fainted in front of one of his neighbors' houses. After being taken to Cileungsi Hospital, the victim was declared dead," explained Onkoseno.
From the initial examination, the police found stab wounds on the victim's neck, chest, and stomach. After receiving the report, the police immediately went to the scene of the crime (TKP) to conduct further investigation.
"The victim suffered several stab wounds, in the neck, chest, and stomach. We immediately checked the crime scene and the hospital to determine the victim's condition," he added.
Currently, the police are focused on pursuing a suspect who is believed to be closely involved in Sandy's death. However, information regarding the perpetrator's identity is still confidential for the sake of the investigation.
"We are looking for one suspected perpetrator, but we cannot yet reveal the data and profile to the public," said Onkoseno.
The process of collecting evidence and investigation continues to be carried out intensively. The police hope to soon reveal the motive and arrest the perpetrators responsible for this tragedy.
Sandy Permana's body is now at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for an autopsy. The victim's family has been notified and is currently focusing on the funeral process. "The family is aware of this incident and is preparing for the funeral process," Onkoseno concluded.
