This was experienced by celebrity couple Sahrul Gunawan and Dine Mutiara who have failed twice in artificial insemination attempts. Although initially disappointed, they have now chosen to make peace with the situation and accept the destiny that has been determined.
The decision to undergo this pregnancy program was taken considering their age factor which is no longer young. However, all the efforts that have been made have not produced the results as expected. The couple also shared their experiences of their struggle in undergoing an artificial insemination program to have a daughter.
Sahrul Gunawan said that they were looking forward to the arrival of their baby. Unfortunately, the insemination efforts that had been carried out did not produce the results as expected.
Initially, Sahrul kept pushing his wife to keep trying. But after getting an explanation from the doctor about the various risks that might arise, they finally decided to accept the situation.

"Initially, I was the one who said, 'Come on honey, let's keep trying,' but in the end, it was okay because the doctor had told me the risks were like this, so it was okay. There might be a time when I can be with my child, so we won't be separated like that. And I realized that this was my business, why was he being blamed, so I realized that," said Sahrul Gunawan, quoted by brilio.net from Pagi Pagi Ambyar, Thursday (26/9).
Dine Mutiara, Sahrul's wife, also shared her feelings regarding her husband's desire to have children. She admitted that she always wanted to see her husband happy and felt sad if that desire had not yet come true.
As a couple, they support each other and understand each other's feelings. Dine tries to always be there for her husband, both in happy and sad times.
"If Aa always wants to have another child every day, she wants to have another child for us (us). If Aa is happy, her account will be happy. If Aa will be sad, her account will also be sad. If for example she can't, her account will also be sad," said Dine Mutiara.

Despite their failures, the couple still lives their days with enthusiasm and optimism. They choose to focus on the positive things in life and continue to live a happy married life.
Sahrul Gunawan emphasized the importance of surrendering to Allah in every prayer. He believes that Allah knows best what is best for them, including in terms of happiness and sadness.
"Previously, every time we pray, we ask for the best, if we force it, later we don't know what unwanted things will happen. Allah knows better how happy we are, how sad we are," concluded the 48-year-old artist.
Sahrul Gunawan and Dine Mutiara got married on May 6, 2023. Until now, their household has always looked harmonious even though they have not been blessed with children.
