Responding to the rumors, Rey Mbayang finally spoke up. Dinda Hauw's husband decided to provide clarification regarding the changes to his nose through a fan group on Instagram.
Rey admitted to having undergone a medical procedure on his nose. However, he emphasized that this was not solely for aesthetic reasons.
The procedure Rey underwent was aimed at correcting a health problem he had been experiencing for a long time.
"Assalamualaikum, regarding the fuss about my nose, yes it's true I fixed it because there was something urgent, my bone structure is crooked and my breathing is uncomfortable, it's been a plan for a long time but I only dared now. But regarding the sharp nose, it will go back to how it was before, it just takes time because it was a request for straighten and relieve breathing, not make it sharp," explained Rey Mbayang, quoted by brilio.net from his Instagram broadcast channel on Saturday (19/10).

To support his explanation, Rey did not hesitate to share a photo of his nose before the surgery. He wanted to show his followers the real condition of his crooked nose.
Rey also emphasized that this information is actually private. However, he felt the need to provide an explanation to answer the many questions asked.
"Enough, actually this is personal. I just want to answer people asking what the purpose is," he wrote.
Rey later revealed that the procedure he underwent was not the end of his medical treatment. He still has further medical procedures planned to address his sinus issues.
The actor hopes that with the condition of his nasal bone now repaired, the next steps will be easier to do.
