Brilio.net - Through several uploads on Instagram, Bunga Zainal expressed her sadness because she was betrayed by someone close to her. Not kidding, this mother of two admitted to losing IDR 15 billion, which was money that was prepared for her children's future. What made her even more devastated was that the money disappeared because she was deceived by someone close to her.
Due to the incident, Bunga immediately took legal action. She reported the case to Polda Metro Jaya on August 22, 2024. Her report was registered with the number LP/B/4972/VIII/2024/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya.
Bunga explained that the perpetrators were her close friends, named CD and her husband SFS. The story began when Bunga and her husband got to know the reported party. Their meeting began around 2020 in Bali. After that, they often ate and hung out together.
"The closeness was then used by the reported parties to invite me to invest in the procurement project. I then agreed to invest by sending money in stages from 2022 to 2024," said Bunga Zainal as quoted from a press conference posted by the account @bungazainal05 on Thursday (29/8).
Their relationship grew closer until finally Bunga Zainal was invited to do business with CD and SFS in 2022. The woman who was born on March 23, 1987 invested in a procurement project that they were both working on at that time.
Because they felt close, Bunga agreed to the offer and finally sent the money in stages from 2022 to 2024. Initially, their cooperation went smoothly, Bunga also received a share of the profits according to the agreement. Until May 2024, Bunga began to find irregularities in the business. The results of the profits transferred began to differ from the initial agreement.
In July 2024, the problem reached its peak when Bunga Zainal no longer received a share of the profits from her two business partners. Bunga then invited them to meet on August 8, 2024 to seek clarity, but the meeting did not produce any solution.
After the meeting, Bunga Zainal sent a written warning to her two business partners to immediately resolve the issue. However, Bunga again did not receive the expected response. In her calculations, she suffered a loss of Rp15 billion.
"The reported profit was not fully paid to me. At the same time, I was also shocked by the stories of other victims who had a similar fate to me," said Bunga Zainal.
Bunga was very sad because the money was also savings collected for the education of her children, Karan Pradhi Singh and Harmeel Pradhi Singh. Therefore, Bunga felt very sorry for the incident.
"I really did save it for my children, even one of the funds my husband spent was for my children's education fund, when this happened my mental state was not healthy," said Bunga Zainal.
The problems that befell her made Bunga Zainal's mental state disturbed, to the point that she felt she did not dare to meet her husband and two children because of the guilt that continued to haunt her. Bunga admitted that she felt very sorry that her children were also victims in this situation.
"I didn't even want to meet my child because I could get angry at my child. Even though my child is also a victim, he's just hurt because I sacrificed my child's education fund for this fake investment," he explained.
"I can only cry because I can be this stupid, because maybe my close friends know that I'm a very cheerful person who never cries," Bunga added.
