Atta Halilintar immediately denied the accusations. He even took firm steps by reporting the accounts spreading hoax news to the authorities.
Meanwhile, Ria Ricis, who also just became a widow after separating from Teuku Ryan, chose a different stance in responding to this issue. She seemed more cautious and reluctant to comment too much.
In an interview conducted by SCTV on Tuesday (10/9), Ria Ricis finally spoke about the issues circulating. This popular YouTuber expressed his reluctance to provide further comments.

Ria Ricis admitted that she was in a difficult position. She felt that whatever she said would be criticized by the public.
The mother of one was reluctant to speak further. She only gave a few comments to reporters.
"Later I said the wrong thing, I didn't say the wrong thing," he said.
Responding to Ria Ricis' attitude, her sister, Oki Setiana Dewi, also spoke up. Oki emphasized that her family does not really follow developments on social media.
Oki also stated firmly that the issue of a secret marriage between his sister and Atta Halilintar was not true. He asked the public not to believe news that could not be accounted for its truth.
"Because we don't really follow social media, we don't know anything. So that's not true, guys," said Oki.

Oki revealed that the news that his sister had a secret marriage with Atta before marrying Aurel was not true. He did not want to respond to it because the news was not true.
"Because something is not right, so it doesn't need to be (responded to). Secret marriage is not right," he added.
Unlike Ria Ricis who chose to remain silent, Atta Halilintar took a firm stance against the spread of this hoax news. Aurel Hermansyah's ex-husband decided to take legal action.
Atta's decision received full support from his family. They believe that this issue must be resolved through legal channels to provide a deterrent effect to hoax spreaders.
An official report was filed by Atta Halilintar to the South Jakarta Police on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. This step was taken as an effort to clear his good name and prevent the spread of fake news that could harm many parties.
