Brilio.net - The trial of Kimberly Ryder and Edward Akbar was held again at the Central Jakarta Religious Court, on Wednesday (25/9) today. In this trial, Kimber Ryder was accompanied by her mother, Irvina Zainal, as a witness before the panel of judges.
The mother's presence at court may have been due to knowledge of several problems that occurred in Kimberly Ryder and Edward's household, especially regarding allegations of domestic violence (KDRT).
"You know, there are some things he knows," said Kimber Ryder, quoted by brilio.net, Tuesday (25/9).

Revealing allegations of domestic violence, Kimberly's attorney, Machi Ahmad, emphasized that the act was not a rumor. This case of domestic violence was reported by Kimber Ryder in 2021 to the Polsek, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang.
Even though this report was made, Kimberly only took steps to file for divorce on July 12 2024.
"Yes, there is one reason, among several others," said Kimberly.

Regarding the alleged domestic violence, Kimberly's mother also spoke up. Irvina responded to the alleged domestic violence, admitting that she was angry when she learned about the violence that occurred in 2019.
"The incident happened in 2019, I only found out this year. After I found out, it was like fire came out, I was really angry," added Irvina.
Not expecting domestic violence, Irvina felt disappointed with Edward's attitude. Irvina even suspected that Edward was just pretending to be nice in front of her.
"Smart, sweet in front of me. Yes, he's good, I've told him 'please take good care of my child, make him happy, don't let him have problems', in front of me he's good. But behind his back I don't know," he added.
Having gone through difficult times, Irvina felt relieved because Kimberly managed to get out of the unhealthy household. Kimberly filed for divorce at the Central Jakarta Religious Court on July 12, 2024, after being married to Edward for more than five years.
