"The reported age is 62 years, so he is quite old," said Sangun Ragahdo, quoted by brilio.net from KapanLagi.com on Thursday (3/10).
This meeting became a moment of apology from the reported party to the newlywed couple. The reported party admitted his mistake after the case was reported to the police.
The reported party's cooperative attitude did not change Thariq-Aaliyah's intention to continue processing this case legally.
"It was said that we felt guilty because of this, so we reported it because it had been quite a long time ago and finally we made a report to the police," he explained further.

Thariq tried to hold back his emotions when faced with the accused who turned out to be elderly. However, his annoyance was still evident on his face considering the impact of the slander.
Professionalism was maintained throughout the mediation process even though Thariq's heart was in turmoil. He tried to act maturely in facing this situation.
"Tried to be polite throughout the mediation, but it felt like uh," said Thariq.
The couple's determination to continue the legal process did not waver even though the accused had apologized. Aaliyah emphasized the importance of law enforcement in this defamation case.
They hope that this case can be a deterrent for other hoax spreaders. Aaliyah also conveyed her stance firmly.

"The lawyer said earlier that it would be handed over to the police. But for us, in the name of law, whatever has been done must continue," said Aaliyah.
The legal team revealed that there are still several other accounts reported in this case. The investigation process will continue to thoroughly investigate all parties involved.
The police were asked to immediately follow up on other accounts. The attorney hopes that the legal process can run according to procedure.
"It should be noted, we reported several accounts, but only one account has been found," said Sangun firmly.
