The woman born on July 26, 1973 was once famous for her Malay pop song titled 'Di Persimpangan Jalan (Dilema)'. She was active in the music industry from the 90s to the early 2000s.

Malaysian actress and singer, Datuk Nora Arifin, shocked the public regarding the news of her marriage with Dr. Rushdi Ramli. Never before did the bad news spread that Datuk Nora Arifin announced that she had been divorced by her husband.
This news was known after Nora uploaded a video on Instagram. In the video, Dr. Rushdi Ramli was seen wearing a white shirt divorcing Datuk Nora Arifin. However, the reason he divorced his wife is unknown. Dr. Rushdi only said that all his decisions were because of Allah SWT.

"By saying bismillah. Fa imsakun bin ma'ruf, au tasrihun bi ihsan. I, whose name is Rushdi bin Ramli, hereby divorce and divorce my wife. Wan Nora Fiza binti Arifin with one divorce because of Allah SWT," said Rushdi in Datuk Nora Arifin's upload.
Meanwhile, Nora, via her Instagram Stories page, was reluctant to blame Rushdi's decision to divorce her. She only revealed the reason for recording the video as proof that she had separated from her husband.

"Ustaz (husband) is not guilty. He only followed the instructions given, namely to divorce me without any reason and record a video as evidence," he said as reported on Tuesday (13/8).
Without going into details of her divorce, Nora simply expressed her gratitude for what happened. "I am speechless. It is enough that God is with me," she added.
Previously, there was news that Nora's household with the Senior Lecturer of the Law & Proposal Department of Universiti Malaya (UM) was shaky. However, the singer of Di Persimpangan Dilema denied it. She admitted that her marriage to Rushdi was still in good condition.

Nora married Dr. Rushdi Ramli on December 3, 2021. Nora's marriage was also controversial because it was rumored that she was a homewrecker to steal her husband. According to Malay Mail, the 49-year-old singer was accused of forcing her current husband to divorce his first wife.
Meanwhile, Dr. Rushdi Ramli was not Nora's first husband. She was married to Johan in 1992 and had four children. However, their marriage did not last long, because Johan died on March 24, 2017 at the age of 52 due to a heart attack.
