Raline Shah recently opened up about her life on a podcast with Denny Sumargo, her co-star in the film 5 CM. In the casual chat, Raline revealed some interesting things about her single status that has persisted until now.
When Denny asked, "Have you ever been rejected?" Raline confidently answered, "Of course I have." Denny was curious and asked further, "Wow, who is that man, Raline? Zainuddin, not Herjunot Ali, right?" Raline explained that her rejection was not from humans, but from circumstances.
"Rejected by the situation, that we want something but we are rejected from there," said Raline, who is a woman of Chinese Malay descent.
He realized that the rejection was a form of protection from God. "Rejection is God's protection for us. You're not ready for this," he added.
In her increasingly mature age, Raline admitted that she felt ready to get married, but the situation actually rejected her. "When I felt ready, I was rejected," she concluded.
Many netizens regret her single status, but many also understand Raline's decision.
"Oh yeah....rejection is a form of GOD's protection for us, when we are not yet ready for all the risks that we will have to bear later in any situation, it's okay, I understand," commented a netizen on the TikTok upload.
