Brilio.net/en - Even after 50 years of her death, the charm of the most iconic blonde, Norma Jeane Mortenson or popularly known as Marilyn Monroe is still worshipped to this day. Two notable celebrity photographers Douglas Kirkland and Milton H. Greene band together in their mutual affinityfor the blonde bombshell in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, an exhibition held at The Little Black Gallery, London.
The exhibition which runs from January 21 to February 27 displays the collection from Kirklands 1961 series, In Bed with Marilyn and Greenes Ballerina Waiting Her Cue, Winsome in White Fur, NY and The Hooker Sitting, LA.
Greene preferred Marilyn to escape the dumb blonde stuff and he took series of picture of her in different character, while Kirkland focused on exposing the actresss sexual appeal. Nonetheless, all the photos taken by both photographers successfully show how versatile and talented Marilyn Monroe was for carrying an unbearable bewitchment that only her could radiate.
