Brilio.net - Lately, Baim Wong and Paula Verhoeven's household has been widely discussed by the public. The two are said to be experiencing a rift, and are even rumored to be living separately. Baim Wong is rumored to be spending more time in his office, while Paula and her two children remain at home.
Amid speculation about their relationship, Paula revealed Baim Wong's big role in helping her understand Islam more deeply. Paula's decision to wear the hijab and get closer to Allah was apparently greatly influenced by Baim.
"Masya Allah, when I met Baim, he introduced me more deeply to Islam, such as religious studies and studies. From before marriage until after marriage," said Paula, quoted by brilio.net from the TikTok account @meefriansyah, Friday (4/10).

The mother of two also recalled one of the precious moments in her journey, when she first performed prayers in a mall while with Baim. This moment became the starting point of a big change in her life.
This happened when he was still dating the star of the soap opera Benci Bilang Cinta. This experience was so memorable that he continues to remember it as part of his more serious spiritual journey.
"I first prayed at the mall with him," Paula recalled.

Paula admitted that she fully understands the obligation to wear the hijab as a Muslim woman. However, she realized that guidance to do so must be pursued and sought earnestly, not just waited for.
"Since 2019 until yesterday I decided to wear the hijab, I kept searching. I know the hijab is obligatory, but guidance must be pursued and sought," explained Paula.
After a long and searching spiritual journey , Paula finally felt her heart moved to wear the hijab. With full confidence, Paula asked Baim Wong for permission to start wearing the hijab. It didn't take long for Baim to immediately give his wife his full support.
"I don't know why, I was confused at some point, but suddenly one morning I said to Baim, 'I'm allowed to wear the hijab,' and he immediately said, 'yes, you can'. I said, 'because I'm also afraid of dying,'" Paula concluded.
