Marissa Haque had apparently been preparing herself, along with Ikang Fawzi, for the death of one of them for a long time. In an old interview video, Marissa expressed her desire to die before her husband.
The desire was not without reason. Marissa was afraid of having to live without Ikang, considering that many household matters were handled by her husband.
"I was scared, I told Ikang that if I die first, it would be better for Mom (Marissa)," said Marissa in an interview quoted by brilio.net from the TikTok account @cilikayune.

He also explained that he did not really understand how to take care of a house. Especially technical matters such as electricity.
"Because I don't understand how to take care of a house this big, if the lights go out, I just have to say, 'Daddy, how do you get electricity from these lights? Where do you get the electricity from here?' he added.
Hearing Marissa Haque's request, Ikang Fawzi managed to calm his wife down. He said that usually it is women who have long lives and accompany their husbands until they are old. Ikang joked that there is no need to think too much about it, because everything will happen according to destiny.
"Usually women live long lives, you don't need to think about it. Something like that will definitely happen, it will happen, right?" said Ikang.

Not only talking about leaving, Marissa and Ikang have also prepared the distribution of assets to their children. Both are open about their plans if one of them dies.
"We have been open with our children about the assets we have collected, if the father dies first the plan is abcd, if the mother dies first abcd, if the children are married then, if not then," they both explained.
In the conversation, Ikang also emphasized that they did not want any drama or excessive feelings if the death of one of them came.
"That's right, so there's no need to dramatize it," said Ikang firmly.

Marissa also added that they have prepared everything carefully. She also believes that all the planning will go according to plan.
"We are management people, strategic people, so we have made plans in life," he added.
Not long after that conversation, fate spoke. The family said that Marissa was found motionless on Tuesday, October 2, 2024 in the early hours of the morning.
Marissa allegedly collapsed while sleeping, without any prior complaints. Her body was buried at TPU Tanah Kusir on the same day, the final resting place she had requested before she died.
