Brilio.net - Mamah Dedeh was present at the tedak siten event for Azura, the second child of Atta Halilintar and Aurel Hermansyah. On this occasion, he and Atta had a chance to talk about the Hajj. Apparently, during the Hajj yesterday, he met the first child of the Gen Halilintar family and also Tariq.
In their conversation, Mamah Dedeh admitted that she goes to Mecca almost every year. In the Holy City he underwent the pilgrimage in front of the Kaaba.
Apparently, Mamah Dedeh has been on the Hajj 33 times, you know. The owner's full name, Dede Rosidah, has been carrying out this worship since the 70s.
"33 times," said Mamah Dedeh when asked by Atta how many times he had performed the Hajj.
Hearing this answer, Atta was surprised. He gaped because the preacher had made more pilgrimages than he thought.
"33 pilgrimages? From what age, Grandma?" Atta asked.
Mamah Dedeh has been performing the Hajj since the 70s. In fact, now his children have the title of Hajj. Going back and forth to Mecca has become a routine activity.
"From the 70s. Thank God back and forth," he answered.
Regarding repeated pilgrimages, Atta questioned the law. The reason is, there are those who do not allow multiple pilgrimages because they take up other people's quota.
However, Mamah Dedeh is of the opinion that Hajj is permitted to be carried out frequently. In fact, the more, the better. For him, it is wrong to go on the Hajj but not share it with other people.
"It's wrong, what's wrong is if we do Hajj but don't share it. Grandma, Ta, goes to Umrah every month for at least 4 people," he said.
Some time ago, Mamah Dedeh's lecture reprimanding viewers who asked questions on her show went viral on social media. Mamah Dedeh appeared to be strongly reprimanding the audience for introducing herself as hajjah. According to him, this title is a form of arrogance.
"When we go home from prayer, we are called ma'am prayer, are we called ma'am zakat when we finish our zakat? Are we called ma'am fasting when we finish fasting? Has it ever been said in the Koran, in the hadith, that after returning home from hajj, we are called ma'am haji? The Prophet Muhammad, our apostle, or not was once called Haji Muhammad. That's arrogance," he said.
In different lectures, Mamah Dedeh actually allowed the calling of hajj and hajah as a form of respect. However, the situation is when someone else agrees without being asked.
"This is especially true in our country , those who return for Hajj as a tribute are called Mrs. Ajjah, called Mr. Hajj. That's fine. But we're not the ones asking, if people call us Hajj, that's no problem," explained the 74 year old woman, quoted from @officialmnctv.
For him, the most important thing is that when the person has completed the Hajj, the person is able to become a protector for the family and community.
"The thing called Hajj is like a roof. What does that mean? If we have Hajj, be a protector for our family and members of our community. When you do Hajj, protect the people around you," he concluded.
The humility of Mamah Dedeh, who has called herself hajah 33 times, has received praise from netizens. In the comments column of Atta's video content, they praised his attitude.
"33 times Hajj, but I don't want to be called Haji... Mamah dedeh is extraordinary," praised meilany_80.
"33 times hajj but never want to be called hajjah mma dedeh different from the ono ya, mamake with pride," said @maya.jaka.
"But thank God Mamah Dedeh doesn't require people to call her Hajah Mamah Dedeh," said @lailatulnur11.
