Sad news came from the entertainment world of Indonesia. Comedian Nurul Qomar has reportedly passed away after undergoing treatment at the Tangerang Regional General Hospital (RSUD).
Siti Maryam, the wife of Nurul Qomar, confirmed that her husband is now gone forever. She said that the deceased passed away at 17:21 WIB.
"Yes (he died) at 17.21. Yes, he is still at the regional hospital," said Siti Maryam to reporters on Wednesday (8/1).
Siti Maryam seemed very sad and could not say much about this sad news. She only asked for prayers for her late husband.
"Please pray," said Qomar's wife hopefully.
On a different occasion, fellow comedian Jarwo Kwat also confirmed the sad news about Nurul Qomar's death. Jarwo admitted to receiving information that Qomar passed away this afternoon.
"Yes, it's true (he died) this afternoon," said Jarwo in a sad tone.
Meanwhile, Jarwo admitted that he could not speak further about Qomar's death. He is still waiting for further information regarding the matter.
"Still waiting for news too," he wrote again.
For your information, in 2021, Qomar revealed through his personal Instagram account that he was diagnosed with stage 4C colon cancer. The disease was detected after Qomar checked his health with a specialist doctor. Since then, he has routinely undergone chemotherapy as part of his treatment.
