The viral video first circulated on TikTok, then spread to X and has now caught the attention of netizens. The video, which was re-uploaded by user X with the account name @SecretAdmireerz, has been viewed 4 million times. Through the upload, a baby is seen with a full makeup face , and a portrait of him before being made up.
The baby's face looks brighter, like using complexion and powder. Not only that, glitter eyeshadow, use of eyebrow pencil, blush on, contour, and lipstick, also appear to decorate the tiny baby's face.

Immediately, the upload immediately provoked criticism from netizens. Many argued that baby's skin, which is still sensitive, should be protected from exposure to cosmetic products, especially those used for adults.
Before being spread on platform X, the video of the baby being made up was first shared directly by the MUA with the account name @fayrafarahh_makeup from Sampang, Madura. The account often shares various videos of her makeup results, but this time the upload related to the baby being made up has invited controversy.
Shortly after the video was uploaded, many netizens expressed concerns and criticism of the act of making up babies which was considered unsafe. Netizens also criticized the use of makeup on babies, which is feared can cause irritation or even other skin health problems.

" This is real huhu, one side of the eyeliner is messy all the way to the eyelid and the other side is clean ," wrote the account @SecretAdmireerz in the caption of the upload, quoted by briliobeauty.net on Sunday (29/9).
Responding to the criticism that continued to flood her account, @fayrafarahh_makeup finally deleted the video she uploaded and immediately apologized openly. In her statement, the account admitted her guilt for not thinking long before accepting the request to make up a baby. Not only that, she also provided clarification regarding the situation that occurred before the make-up process was carried out.

According to her explanation, the client who was the mother of the tiny baby came suddenly to her house and asked for her baby to be made up. The MUA questioned the decision and asked if the baby's mother was sure she wanted her baby made up.
" Actually, I already said something like this in short, 'Is it okay for the baby to be put on makeup? How will I remove it later? Is it dangerous for the baby to be put on makeup like this? '" he wrote in the clarification post.
However, the mother insisted on doing her baby's makeup because she was holding a family event. Finally, the MUA who is the owner of the account @fayrafarahh_makeup, decided to do the baby's makeup by advising that the makeup be removed using baby oil.

The use of baby oil to avoid irritation that may occur on the baby's skin. Even so, the MUA also finally apologized in full. She said that she would not take baby makeup jobs in the future.
