Most of love and heartbreak songs from the 80's could be romantic and scary at the same time. Those songs got some pretty selfish and borderline creepy lines within them, but people tend to overlook the creepiness because the melancholic rhythm made those songs sound sweet.
But not again. A graphic designer called Butcher Billy — most likely not his real name— visualize some classic songs as vintage novel and VHS covers.
Taken from Mr. Butcher's official website, here are some of his creations: a mix of Stephen King's horror perceptions and classic popular love songs. Now, you'll never hear those songs the same way again.
