Brilio.net - Windows play an important role as a source of air circulation in a residence or building. In addition, the presence of windows allows sunlight to enter the room, which helps reduce humidity and kill germs and bacteria. This natural lighting also makes the atmosphere of the house feel warmer and more comfortable.
The function of windows is not only limited to lighting and ventilation. Its existence also provides a view out, so that the room is not completely closed by walls. Generally, windows are made of glass framed with materials such as wood or stainless steel.
However, as an access for air and light to enter, windows are a part of the house that is vulnerable to dust and dirt. Window glass can even be filled with rainwater splashes, especially if not equipped with a canopy. If left too long, rainwater marks can turn into stubborn stains that are difficult to clean.
To maintain its clarity and cleanliness, window glass needs to be cleaned regularly, just like the rest of the house. Consistent maintenance will keep the windows looking clean and functioning optimally.

Tricks to clean marker stains on glass windows.Cleaning marker marks on glass windows can be quite a hassle, especially if permanent markers are used. However, there are a few tricks you can do to remove them easily:
1. Use Alcohol or Alcohol-Based Cleaning Fluid.
Pour some rubbing alcohol (such as isopropyl alcohol) onto a clean cloth, then rub it on the marker marks until they disappear. Alcohol is effective in dissolving marker ink without damaging the glass surface.
2. Use Non-Gel Toothpaste.
Apply regular toothpaste (not gel) to the affected area, then rub gently using a soft cloth or sponge. Rinse with clean water afterwards.
3. Use Acetone or Nail Polish.
Acetone is also effective in removing marker ink stains. Pour a little onto a cotton ball, then wipe it over the marker marks. Avoid contact with window frames if they are made of sensitive materials such as wood or paint.
4. Try Baking Soda and Water.
Mix baking soda with a little water to form a paste. Rub the paste onto the glass with a soft cloth to remove the ink stain.
5. Use a Whiteboard Marker (Dry-Erase Marker).
Rewrite over the marker marks with a whiteboard marker, then wipe it off immediately with a cloth. The new ink will dissolve the old ink, making it easier to clean.
