Brilio.net - Building or renovating a house is one of the important moments in life. Not a few people choose to use the services of relatives to save more and feel more emotionally secure. However, the story shared by a netizen is actually a strong warning not to be reckless in making such a decision.
A woman shared her bitter experience when she entrusted the construction of her house to her own relative. Instead of getting the results she expected, she was actually sad because the construction of her house was far from neat. She finally shared her complaints via social media.
The upload re-uploaded by the Instagram account @pembasmi.kehaluan.reall immediately went viral and garnered various responses. Many felt the same fate, but there were also those who shared different experiences. Even so, this netizen's story truly reflects the proverb "hope and worry".
He said his frustration started from the most basic details, such as the windows that could not be opened. The problem arose because of a mistake in the frame, which ironically was made by the craftsman, his own relative.

"I HAVE BEEN SAID. Don't build or renovate a house using the services of your own relatives. This is the result. 2 windows were fixed and couldn't be opened, the reason was because the frames didn't fit. Even though he made the frames himself," he said as quoted by brilio.net from Instagram @pembasmi.kehaluan.reall on Saturday (5/7).
The problem continued until the painting and ceiling of the house were made carelessly. He could not hold back his sadness seeing the condition of his dream house which had become a source of stress.
"The paint is uneven, the ceiling putty is careless... I really cried when I saw it. What's the point of this, what's the frame like, what's the door like, maybe for ventilation. The door is anchored, cracked and split," he explained.
The most painful thing he felt was when he saw the condition of the door that could not be saved. Instead of being sturdy and usable, it was broken and added to the list of chaos.

The disappointment was so great that he felt like his house was the work of a child who was learning to build. He couldn't understand why the end result could be that bad.
"Oh my God, what is this? It's like a child learning to build a house," he said.
This outpouring finally triggered various responses from netizens. One account shared a message that was quite wise and could perhaps be a consideration for anyone who is in the process of building a house.
"Don't get it the other way around. Architects can use those who are related to their family. But for builders, don't ever use those who are related to their family," said @horizongroup123.

Although the story is quite sad, not all netizens have experienced the same fate. Some of them even shared positive experiences when using the services of relatives to build or renovate a house.
"My parents built the house using the services of relatives in my mother's village. Thank God the building is good and sturdy," said @renisftrii_.
"I built the house using all my own relatives, thank God the results were very good, everyone who came asked where the workers were from said they were good," said @dda.bluee.
"Alhamdulillah, when renovating the house, I asked for help from my uncle or my mother's older brother and the results were good, especially for the door frames and painting," said @budhiprasetyoutomo.
However, there are also those who experience similar results. Instead of getting good results, renovating using the services of relatives or close people actually makes you feel sad.
"Don't do it with your own neighbors either. We intend to help their economy, but instead we get hit with the price and the design doesn't match," said @momre.trioabhi.
"It's true, my parents' house was built by my little brother, but there's nothing wrong with that, why don't you feel comfortable complaining to your little brother, that's fine," said @ayualiman.
