After the intense disaster film that wasDeepwater Horizon, Mark Wahlberg has one again teamed up with director Peter Berg for CBS Films and Lionsgate's take on the Boston Marathon bombing, Patriots Day.
The film is a depiction ofthe aftermath of the bombingsand how Sgt. Tommy Saunders (Mark Wahlberg) joins survivors and investigators as they hunt down the suspects.
The film will also co-star Kevin Bacon, John Goodman, J.K. Simmons and Michelle Monaghan. It will be released onDecember 21 in Boston, New York, and LosAngeles, and will see worldwide distribution on January 13.
