Brilio.net - Indonesian president Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has just been on National TV and stated that the situation is under control calling on the Indonesian people to stay calm. “The State, the nation and people should not be afraid, and lose to, such terror acts.” President Widodo has cut his political trip to Java short and is set to return to Jakarta.  

Since this morning seven explosions have been reported in Jakarta, with up to six people believed to be dead, 3 of whom are policemen.

There are no indications that these attacks were coordinated by IS, according to the Intelligence chief.

Police are still on the search for the gunmen who are believed to be in the Cakrawala building on Jalan Thamrin Street, which is also the site of the Starbucks café and the UN headquarters.
