Brilio.net/en - In the last October, Tony Lee experienced a tormenting accident that had changed his life forever. That accident happened when he swam into the warm water of Lanikai on Oahu. Unexpectedly, he felt that both of his legs were pulled forcefully by something. What a surprise! When he looked back, there was a 15 inches Tiger Shark which yanked both of his legs out repeatedly.
As quoted from buzzlamp (21/12), Lee revealed that he could see the shark clearly as he wore goggles on. He tried to remove his legs from its mammals mouth as best he could.
He pulled me down one last time, so I just reached out and put my finger in his eye and pulled out his eyeball. And so he let go. So I got to the surface. I was holding his eyeball. So I let it go and was treading water.
Though his legs had been released from the attacking animal, he lost a lot of blood because of wounds he suffered. Quickly, he screamed for a help.
I could feel the blood leaving my body, and there was a big trail. And the kayakers told me they saw a big blood slick going back, said Lee.
Luckily, there were two men who heard his scream. Soon, one of them tied his feet with a tourniquet and brought him to the shore.
Because of that harrowing experience, he lost one of his feet. Now, he is on the way to recovery after the surgery.
