President Joko Widodo is visiting Turkey for a bilateral meeting with the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan today.

According to Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, both presidents will discuss various things including economy, trading and terrorism.

“The trading rate between two countries is quite high which is $1.3 billion. The export of Indonesian products to Turkey reaches $1 billion while the import [reaches] $300 million,”Retno said to Kompas.

This is also a return visit after Erdogan visited Jakarta in 2015.

After Turkey, Jokowi is scheduled to fly to Germany to attend G20 meeting on July 7 to 8.

Jokowi is reportedly going to present three points during the meeting, including global economic growth, economic resilience and the responsibilities of countries towards the development of a civilized world.

Jokowi’s family including wife, three children, a daughter-in-law and grandson are coming along during the trip.
