First, take a light-colored powder first. Then apply it to the middle area of the nose bridge from top to bottom using the square sponge. Then for the edges, apply a dark-colored powder using a small contour brush. Apply slowly until it blends slightly with the white powder line in the middle of the nose.
"Don't forget to darken the nostrils and edges of your nose so it doesn't look patchy," concluded Nanathnadia.
If you look at the difference before contouring, the nose looks wider and flatter at the bridge of the nose. The natural shadow and shape of the nose before contouring gives the impression of less defined dimensions. The nostril area also looks rounder and less defined. Overall, the shape of the nose looks more natural without any protrusion or illusion of structural change.
After applying the contour with compact powder, there is a significant transformation in the appearance of the nose. The contour technique creates the illusion of a more pointed and dimensional nose. The bridge of the nose looks slimmer due to the dark contour lines on the right and left sides, as well as highlights in the middle that reflect light. This effect gives the impression of a higher and more defined nose, as if fillers or plastic surgery had been performed. The nostril area also looks smaller and more structured thanks to the play of light and dark from the contour powder.
