Brilio.net - There is an interesting story behind the graceful appearance of Desa Maya when attending Luna Maya's sungkeman and siraman event on Tuesday, May 6. Luna's mother from Austria apparently wanted to wear flip-flops because they felt much more comfortable than having to wear high heels.
The story was revealed through a video on Luna Maya's YouTube channel entitled "Behind Luna Maxime's Siraman Moment! This is a Message from the Village Mother for Luna Maya" which was uploaded on May 7, 2025.
Even though she looked beautiful wearing a kebaya complete with a bun, Desa Maya wanted to keep wearing flip-flops to support her comfort. However, Luna hoped that her mother would look neater and more elegant with more appropriate footwear.
Luna persuaded her mother to wear the beautiful sandals that had been prepared. Although the sandals were a bit small, Luna assured her that they would only be worn for a short time.
"Try it first. Haven't tried it yet. Try it first," said Luna.
"No. It's small," said Desa.
"Well, that's possible," added Luna.
The mother actually still chose to wear flip-flops because the footwear that had been prepared was uncomfortable. Luna then begged her mother to endure wearing the sandals that had been prepared for just one hour. Seeing Luna begging like a mother, Desa finally followed her daughter's request.

"Just one hour, please. Just one hour, please. Time to use the swallow," said Luna.
"Yes all right," said Desa.
Luna smiled sweetly when her mother followed her request. Desa's appearance looked even more charming using white sandals that had been prepared by the crew on duty there.
Luna Maya and Maxime Bouttier's WeddingLuna Maya and Maxime Bouttier's wedding was not only a topic of conversation because the couple was finally officially married, but also because the decoration concept they chose managed to steal attention. Carrying an elegant and romantic theme, their wedding decoration combined cultural elements and modern nuances very nicely.
The event lasted for three days, starting from Tuesday (6/5) to Thursday (8/5) night, with a different atmosphere in each series of events. In traditional processions such as siraman and sungkeman, the decoration was dominated by traditional Javanese elements with touches of white, green, and gold. Jasmine flowers, janur, and batik cloth decorated the ceremony area, creating a sacred atmosphere that still felt graceful and soft.
Meanwhile, during the reception, Luna and Maxime chose a garden party concept dominated by ivory white and fresh green leafy shades. Held in an outdoor area, the decorations appeared minimalist yet luxurious, with hanging lamp installations, floating white flower arrangements, and wood and linen accents that gave a warm and intimate impression. These decorative elements blended perfectly with Luna's spaghetti strap dress from Hian Tjen, adding an elegant and timeless impression to the overall atmosphere of the event.
Luna Maya's wedding decoration proves that beauty doesn't always have to be excessive. With a combination of carefully considered details and a nuance that feels personal, Luna and Maxime's wedding presents an impressive and meaningful visual experience for all the guests who attend.
