Luna Maya reveals her proposal experience before Maxime Bouttier and her wise decision.

Luna Maya has again attracted public attention after revealing her personal experience in a YouTube show hosted by Marella Mulwanto and Yumi Kwandy. In the casual chat, Luna shared that she was once proposed to by a man before getting into a serious relationship with Maxime Bouttier .

Although she did not mention the man's name, Luna hinted that the proposal was never made public. "You know I've been proposed too, but I never posted it, it's not important (his initials)," she said to Maxime who was beside her.

She felt no need to announce the event because the circumstances surrounding it were not ideal. Luna admitted that when she received the proposal, she already felt doubtful. "When that moment came, somehow I knew like yes I accept, but so that yeah, to maintain the relationship, just get married," she explained.

He had thought about going through with the marriage just because the opportunity came and the pressure of age. However, the relationship did not last.

After dating for 2.5 years, Luna finally decided to end the relationship. "I dated for 2.5 years, no one knew, but finally it was like... I returned the ring," she said. She felt uncomfortable continuing the relationship because there was no certainty in her heart. "I don't think I want to be with this man for the rest of my life because somehow when that happened my heart was like...," said Luna.

He realized that the decision to marry should not be taken only because of age or circumstances, but because of complete conviction in the heart.

The decision to end the relationship was made with maturity. "We ended it amicably and I returned the ring, and she is happily married to her new partner, just a month ago," he said.

Meanwhile, Luna Maya and Maxime Bouttier's wedding is just a few days away. Even so, their work schedule does not stop.

They had a pre-wedding photo shoot in Bali. The casual fashion theme was chosen to highlight the linen clothing line of the Japanese clothing brand. The photo shoot was done in an open place, either in the hotel yard or on the beach, which presented a warm, relaxed, and harmonious atmosphere.
