Brilio.net - Drinking bottles are water storage containers that play an important role in daily activities. The main function of a drinking bottle is to store water or various types of drinks so that they do not spill. The practical design of the drinking bottle allows the container to be carried in a bag when traveling. The portability of the drinking bottle makes it easy for users to carry drinks to various places.
The use of drinking bottles sometimes causes unexpected problems. A common problem is water leaking from the bottle, causing the items in the bag to become wet. The leak is generally caused by a loose bottle cap that cannot close properly. The looseness of the bottle cap prevents the creation of a tight seal on the drinking bottle.
The quality of the drinking bottle has a significant influence on the condition of the bottle cap. Low-quality drinking bottles tend to have problems with the lid. Experience with this problem has been shared by a YouTube user named Thamrin through his video upload. Leaks in low-quality drinking bottles can occur even though the bottle cap has been tightly closed, potentially wetting objects around it.
"If we fill it with water, sometimes the button is not tightly closed. Or even when it is tightly closed, the water still seeps and leaks out through the gaps in the lid," said Thamrin, quoted by BrilioFood from YouTube/Oppa Thamrin on Monday (11/25).
To overcome this, Thamrin shared a simple and easy trick to overcome a leaking and loose drinking bottle cap. This trick can apparently be effective in preventing water in the bottle from leaking because the cap is tighter.

The trick is simple, just prepare a regular rubber that is often used to tie rice packets. Then place the rubber on the outside of the bottle neck (which is used to put the lid on). Make sure the rubber has the right width to fit the bottle neck, not too loose or tight to prevent water from leaking out.

In the video, Thamrin fills a drinking bottle with water. Then he closes the bottle as usual. He even admitted that he didn't close it tightly. Well, when shaken, the water in the bottle doesn't seem to leak at all. This indicates that the bottle cap is really tight and safer.

It is different with drinking bottles that are not given additional rubber. In the video, Thamrin uses another drinking bottle as a comparison. When shaken, the drinking bottle that is not given rubber still appears to be dripping water.
