Brilio.net/en - The Indonesian National Football team defeated the four-time and defending champion Thailand in the first of two finals of the 2016 AFF Cup held at the Pakansari Stadium, Bogor, Wednesday evening.

Thailand scored first when striker Teerasil Dangda headed the ball to the left side of the goal in the 32nd minute.

Struggling to get out of Thailand's domination on the second half with sporadic offense, Rizki Pora finally scored the equilizer in the 64th minute through a long-range shot.

Indonesia's winning goal was netted by Hansamu Yama six minutes later. His header on the top left corner of the Thailand goal turned the score 2-1.

The score remaineduntil the final whistle. Indonesia only needs a draw to secure their first title on the tournament decider slated for Saturday in Thailand.
