Let's face it, we all have some not-so-zen thoughts that cross our minds during yoga. The ancient Hindu practice looks pretty easy when the Instagram models contort themselves into those pretzel-like poses, but the truth is that they're pretty damn difficult. Yoga may seem all meditation and peaceful breathing but in reality, it's a whole lot of core strength and mental perseverance.

It's pretty difficult to focus on your inner lotus flower blooming" while you're opening your spine mid squat trying not to slip off the mat in a growing pool of your own sweat.

So for all the budding yogi's out there, embrace the pain, and the dark thoughts.
